Who We Are
The Howard County Historical Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich tapestry of Howard County, Missouri’s history. Guided by a nine-member Board of Directors, the museum is committed to serving the entire community of Howard County. Our board members bring together a diverse range of expertise and perspectives, working collaboratively to shape the museum’s operations, guide strategic planning, and build a long-term vision that ensures our history remains vibrant and accessible for generations to come.
